Foronjy Family Update Summer 2022

Sometimes getting your picture taken without warning is enough to make your eyes nearly pop out of your head

We were so proud of our big 11 year old who spent 5 nights at camp enjoying fun and the outdoors

If you've ever received one of Jen's holiday gift boxes, then you already know Jen likes to support local vendors.

This summer we decided to take up golf with the kids and it has been a great way to spend a Sunday together.

I'm not sure he is licensed to operate watercraft, nor can he see over the wheel, but I for one, call him Captain!

You never know how 5 people in tight quarters will get along, but our kids were great at keeping busy during the long drive with books, audio books, and baseball cards. 

As you can see, these two are pretty fond of one another.  Such a joy to see them play!

We just couldn't resist stopping at a very interesting art exhibit outside of Las Vegas. It was 103 degrees which was quite a shock for our coastal kids.

It was a treacherous hike to get to the top of a huge waterfall in Yellowstone, but it was worth the journey.

After Zion, we decided to go through the long tunnel and pop out in Bryce Canyon - so beautiful!

Finding new little friends along the way is all part of being a good traveler. Sawyer fell in love with his new friend, Moosey, at Jenny Lake in the Grand Tetons.

One of the things that made this summer so special was that we took a 2 week Camper road trip together.

Upon arriving at the Tetons campground, we all rushed right down to the lakeshore to run around and play.

In addition to being able to spell his own name, our youngest is proficient in doing 'taco tongue'.

Our biggest boy has gotten really good at skipping rocks on the water...a critical life skill.

Hamming it up for the camera is one of their specialties.

Not sure which I'm more afraid of, the kids or the bear.

After taking the ferry, we braved the hills above Lake Jenny near Jackson to find this Waterfall.

On our trek home from Wyoming we stopped at Craters of the Moon National Monument in Idaho to see this cooled Volcanic terrain.

At my brothers wedding, the flower girl decided to break trend and wear an elegant suit instead.

Although we are not Cowboy fans by birth, they adopted us for a day at the Oxnard Training Facility.

Casey and I got to spend about 6 hours of quality time learning Kings in the Corner during our layover after a fun weekend in Las Vegas.

Hayley, Casey's amazing partner, completed her scholastic program and now has her Masters Degree as a Nurse Practitioner. We are so proud of her and are excited for all the people she will continue to help with her expert care, compassion, and wicked intellect! 

Not only are we so grateful to have Casey on the team at work, we are so fortunate to have Casey and Hayley as part of our adopted family. Our kids adore them and beg Bryan to take them to work in Santa Barbara so they can see them for a visit. 

Take me out to the ball game, take me out to the crowd! The kids are loving baseball, so why not do 5 games in one summer?

Jen's parents have been baseball fans since they were kids growing up in Burbank.  Her brother loves it too!

And of course, a trip to LA wouldn't be complete without a stop at the magic kingdom, Disneyland!

These two get along as most brothers do, with some teasing, arguing, and a little bit of love on occasion.

It was impressive to watch the kids learn a song, practice, and ultimately perform in front of a crowd.

This was us just before the big performance, as you can see, cool as a cucumber....
